This building is on a street corner with a wide road frontage. The building had come about in phases. The front part of the building has a flat roof over a concrete deck. The rear addition has a flat roof on metal deck supported by open web steel joists. Some of the work was done on the building without a permit.

The building has been lying vacant for some time.

Now the owners have decided to rehabilitate the building so it can be rented, leased or sold.

The Building Department at City of Wayne has informed the owners that for rehabilitation of the building 1) work that was done without a permit must be reviewed by a Certified Professional -- a Registerd Architect or a Professional Engineer; and 2) a set of plans be prepared so that a permit can be pulled to regularise the status of the building.
