Sep-13-2006 Update

We are using radiant heat tubing in the basement slab for the STEHR house. To insulate the base of the slab, we are using 2" thick styrofoam. We are also using Welded Wire Fabric as reinforcement for the concrete slab and we will tie down the radiant heat tubing to the Welded Wire Fabric.

The placement of the styrofoam insulation had to be coordinated with the placement of the Welded Wire Fabric to hold the styrofoam down ad prevent it from being blown away in case of wind gust or storm.
