In our discussed Grading-for-Surface-Runoff we mentioned that the area between the houses for Howe Street Deveopment of Johnny Beshi in Wayne Michigan needed to be graded precisely for effective drainage.

We also discussed grading-and-seeding-sodding-alley behind the six manufactured homes for project in Wayne Michigan

Because the area between the the houses is pretty flat and it is clayey soil in the area, the sump lines from the basement needed to be emptied into the storm sewers via the catch basins.

I have posted a few pictures showing the burying of the sump lines and emptying them through a header into the catch basins.
