Fixing-Leak-In-Basement-Existing-House-In-Southeastern-Michigan

In an earlier post on this house project Facia-Upgrade-Front-Porch-Existing-House-In-Southeastern-Michigan I had presented the pictures of the installation of a new Fypon facia for the front porch of the house.

In this post, I am going to discuss fixing a leak in the basement. The source of the leak appears to be near the interface of the concrete floor at First floor level and the poured concrete wall of the basement. Herb Simms and his partner John are the contractor for this project.

Here is a picture of the guys busting part of the apron slab and digging a trench to expose the joint between the First Floor concrete slab and the poured concrete basement wall. I will keep you posted with progress pictures as we go along.
