Deteriorated-Front-Porch-Facia-Existing-House-In-Southeastern-Michigan
This existing architectural beauty sits atop a rolling hilly lot. The front porch has a copper roof. The curved metal faica of the front porch.
In the following, I show you the front porch minus the facia. The deteriorated metal facia plate has been removed and what you see is the wood backing which is also badly deteriorated. The upper structural steel part over the wood backing has been wire brushed cleaned and primer painted.
Matt Lincoln of Lincoln Builders would be replacing the deteriorated facia with Fypon and then paint it to a light color that nearly matches the color of the mortar in the brick.
I will keep you posted with progress pictures as we go along.
