Race Rochester is getting ready to start up Indoor GoKart Racing come starting June 1st, 2007. They are setting up the course inside an existing industrial building.

I met with owners to look at the existing building and to see what work needs to be done.

The existing building is a large span tall industrial building. The owners are looking at either demolishing an existing ramp to a loading dock or alternatively add a handicap ramp adjacent to the existing ramp. Some of the other work that needs to be done is to modify an existing block masonry wall to a 3 hour fire-rated wall, install a manual exit door with a barrier-free ramp, and installation of concrete filled steel pipe bollards.
