In Investigating-Structural-Condition-of-Concretete-Lintel-Street-Front-Building-Part1-FarR1-101.html we discussed that the concrete spalling near the bottom face of the reinforced concrete lintel and the need to do further investigation in regard to the structural integrity of the reinforced concrete lintel.

To enable us to continue our work with eventually restoring structural integrity of the reinforced concrete lintel, the contractor had to do prepwork, such as building a temporary wall on the inside to enable the on-going business to continue to operate safely and securely. This is discussed in Prep-Work-Restoring-Structural-Condition-of-Concretete-Lintel-Street-Front-Building-FarR1-101

Here are some pictures of Part2 of the investigation showing spalled concrete and rusting of some of the rebars near the bottom face of the lintel -- I will keep you posted with more details and pictures as we progress further along.
