Dec-18-2006 Update
from our portfolio of Recent Projects

Our Recent-Projects Include New Construction As-Well-As Addition and Renovation of House, Commercial, Condo, Light-Industrial, Multi-Family Buildings, ...

The home-owners had a percolation test -- typically called perc test, or perk test -- conducted by Oakland County officials. Initially tests on the West side of the property did not pass. Subsequently, during additional testing on the North East side of the property found the soil to be sandy and pass the percolation test easily.

The Oakland County issued a Permit that would allow installation of a septic field in the vicinity of the test area.

The Stehr house is on a sloping terrain. The house was laid out so that the front of the house is at the foot of the hill and the house backs up to the hill on the East side.

The septic tank and septic field will be gravity fed for the needs of the main level of the house. The bath room at the lower level will be served by a grinder pump.

Lucky Contracting is installing the septic field. Dan Olsaway and Charlie have prepared the septic field bed. The precast concrete septic tank was installed today, and Dan and Charlie will start laying out the pipes for the septic field tomorrow.
