In Rehabilitation of Commercial Building-2 in Wayne Michigan post of Feb-08-2007, I had described the work that needed to be done to get this building off the City of wayne Michigan Building Department's dangerous building list.

Hassan Oseili is the contractor for the work. One of the work items was to ensure that the concrete block masonry wall that had been constructed on the North side of the building had been doweled to the existing floor slab and footing underneath. Not being able to ensure that the wall had indeed been doweled in, new dowels have been installed. Since the new block wall had not been toothed in, it also needed to be fastened to the existing wall at the East and West ends using a steel plate and through bolts. You will see this work in the pictures I have presented herein.

All the loose wiring has been properly tied up. The hanging ducts have been fastened/strapped. The building still needs to be cleaned up enough to make it into a white box. Depending on the eventual usage of the the building, the new occupant will need to pull permit for what would need to be done for the intended use of the building.

The owners want to remove the debris from inside the building and do the needed cleanup themselves. We will call the Building Official to inspect that the needed work has indeed been completed and we can turn the building back over to the owners.
