Oct-26-2006 Update
from our portfolio of Recent Projects

Our Recent-Projects Include New Construction As-Well-As Addition and Renovation of House, Commercial, Condo, Light-Industrial, Multi-Family Buildings, ...

We are working with our local utility Detroit Edison Company's personnel for our electrical needs. We have met with the planner for our project Jerry Whitlock and he has made some good cost saving suggestions for routing the electrical feed to the house. In this update we are going to look at some pictures of the pole mounted transformer. We are going to run 200 amp service. We are also going to provide for 240 Volt outlet for such uses as hooking up a Generator.

In our web site's section on
Electrical we have a good deal of discussion on this matter.

The project site is on a private reoad. The electrical feed would be from the transformer on the West side of the property to East of the North-West corner of the house.

We are waiting for decision on whether we are going to go with Geothermal -- and that will depend on whether we can do that cost-effectively based on both first cost as well as life-cycle cost basis. Once that decision has been made we will lay our electrical feed to the house.
