Gary and Pam Stehr's Energy Efficient House with ICF Walls is to be built on a wooded, and hilly nearly 4 acre site on a Private Road in Highland Township Michigan.

The house has been laid out to take advantage of the hilly terrain -- so that the Walk-Out Basement would be at the foot of the hill and the First Floor would be pretty much at the top of the hill.

We got the Building Permit on Friday Aug-11-2006 -- so now that we know that the layout of the house has been approved, today on Aug-12-2006, Saturday, we are meeting with Kevin who is going to clear the project site for the Construction Road, the House and the Septic Field.

We are going to lay out our construction road so that this can be converted to the long drive-way to the house from the private access road.
