This project involved rehabilitating an existing commercial building located on Vanborn in Wayne Michigan as a MotorCyle Accessories Store.

The nominally 30 ft x 50 ft single story building has a flat roof. It also had some addition made to the North without a building permit and without a proper foundation.

Additionally, the building had been in a state of disrepair for some time -- so the City of Wayne Building Department had the existing building on its dangerous building list.

The new owners decided to rehabilitate the building as a MotorCycle Accessories Store.

The City of Wayne required the owners to have the building inspected by a structural engineer and document the work needed to be done to ensure that the building is structurally safe.

The building had to be taken off the dangerous building list and required additional work would need to be done before the issuance of an occupancy permit.
