In my Jan-10-2007 post on Dan-Hossack-ICF-House I wrote about the rough framing inspection and the need to submit details of installation of Open-Web-Steel Joists to the Independence Building Department.

The joists have been supplied by Steel Studs and Joists Inc. The manufacturer supplied the design, the erection drawings, and all the details such as the fastening requirements, and bridging requirements for the joists.

All of the joist installation work is complete except for the joists for the elevated deck construction which uses concrete slab over metal deck supported on the the joists.

I conducted a walk-down inspection of the installation of the joists on Jan-09-2007. I present here some pictures of the joist installation for your reference.
