In my Mar-07-2007 post, I talked about the Forberger-New-Lake-Front-ICF-House-in-Commerce-Twp-Michigan and I showed you the pictures of the exterior of the beautiful house.

This is a beautiful example of a DIY owner-built project. Dieter Forberger has not only built a beautiful energy efficient ICF house, he has thoroughly enjoyed building it. The engineer in Dieter made sure that each and every detail was taken care of meticulously, and from his executive management background ,Dieter knew how, what, and when to subcontract. The architectural plans were prepared by my friend and colleague Paul DiGiorgio. I provided the structural design consulting. The new house has Reddi-Wall ICF walls, supported floors use Hambro composite floor system, and floors are concrete over deck over steel joists.

So back to the topic at hand, I will present in this post some pictures of the beautiful interior of the Forberger House. Dieter is also getting ready to start upgrading his older existing adjacent house -- but that we will discuss, look at, and get a feel for in another post.
